Publication

My love for the creative process of designing a publication is not the only reason I wanted to use this medium. I feel that using text supported by images is a much more real and personal representation of this subject rather than my usual illustrative style. The personal connection that lies between people and their scars is something that I have taken into consideration when I had thought about the best way to approach this work. 

Within the publication I wanted to use my own style of writing, leaving the more academic writing and reference to this website because I did not a reader to feel like they were reading a medical journal. I felt that I could properly speak of my reasoning for creating this work if I could use my own words.
